PPCII Website Tender Q & A
1. There doesn’t seem to have a lot of information on the amount of content and pages that is required for both the general public site and the member’s only site.
The content for the public and protected sites will be discussed with the successful bidder.
In general, the public site will include (not limited to): the PPCII's terms of Reference, an introduction to each committee's work, meeting minutes, an image gallery, a calendar of events, resources, list of members, membership form, member newsletter etc.
The following may be included in the protected section of the website: working/draft versions of documents, in-house forms.
2. Who is handling your hosting?
We have a three-year package with hostpapa.ca.
3. Where can we go to look at a Branding Package?
There was a typo in the bid document under the "Design" section - the style guide was not enclosed. Instead, it will be made available to the successful bidder. There are 2 versions of the logo that are publicly available: the symbol version which is in the print advertisement, and the version with the organisation name that can be seen in the header of the blog: ppcii.blogspot.com
4. How many photos is your organization looking for? (One for each section or a different one for each page)
The number of photos/images required will depend on the design of the website that is proposed, and the content which is being addressed on the specific page. While we want to see well-chosen images for aesthetic appeal throughout the website, the intent is not to make the site too image heavy and we welcome the successful bidder's guidance on this.

Posting: Researcher(s)
The Peterborough Partnership Council on Immigrant Integration was established to create a cohesive regional response to the emerging needs of newcomers. It is comprised of approximately forty member organizations and community members who share an interest in integrating new Canadians into the community.
The Council is seeking researchers for two part-time research contracts. The goal of the projects is to establish a baseline level of knowledge regarding immigrant and service provider experiences in Peterborough before more extensive research is mapped out.
The projects may be undertaken by two separate researchers or both by one individual researcher (independent or representing an organization). Please indicate clearly which project(s) you are applying for in your cover letter.
Project A:
The project involves conducting a review of peer-reviewed and grey literature regarding how the issue of immigrant integration has been examined in second and third-tier Canadian communities (findings from 1995 and on). A written report must be completed which should include an examination of
• best practices for improving inclusivity
• strategies adopted to create a welcoming community for immigrants

1. health and social services
2. employment
3. education
4. housing and transportation
5. issues related to second- and third-tier municipalities
It is expected that the researcher will compile the findings into a written report for public distribution and present a summary of the findings at a public meeting of the Council. The successful applicant will receive administrative support related to participant recruitment, design of focus group questions, and transcription from Council staff.
Responsibilities:
• Interview focus group participants (minimum of six groups)
• Analyze focus group data (i.e., using NVivo or other qualitative analysis tool/software)
• Write a final report on the research
